Jill & Ellie

What beautiful girls!  Jill and Ellie met with me earlier in September for their mother-daughter portraits.  We started off taking a couple of pictures of Jill & Ellie together before snapping some pictures separately.

Then we moved on to taking Ellie’s baby portraits.  She has the cutest smiles and expressions!

Jill & Ellie, I completely enjoyed working with you guys.  Thank you for giving me the opportunity to capture your beautiful smiles!

Fun children’s portrait session

Kadyn and Kiera finally had their portrait session!  They were scheduled to come in a couple of months ago but Kiera broke her leg and we wanted to give it time to heal before the session. Kiera’s leg has since healed completely and she is back in full force!

Kadyn is about to celebrate his fifth birthday!  He loves Spiderman and wanted to wear his favorite shirt while we played some games.  Happy Birthday Kadyn!

I loved Kiera’s dress so much that I am getting 4 similar dresses in various colors & sizes ranging from newborn through 6 years old.  If you have a session scheduled with me and are interested in using one of the skits, just let me know!

Cutie Pie Victoria

Victoria is a 9-month-old sweetheart.  I could not believe what a dream she was to work with!  I don’t think that she fussed a single time throughout our session.  Little Miss Victoria brought her big sister to the session who was a big help in coaxing smiles & laughter for the camera.  Isn’t she just a doll?!?

Newborn baby Sarah

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting nebworn baby Sarah.  Going into the session, I felt like I already knew her.  In August I took maternity portraits for her mom, Jennifer and we spent most of the session visiting like old friends.  Sarah is welcomed into her family by her older brother and sister who are proud to have their new baby sister home.

Typical Friday

With a toddler & preschooler at home, my house is always a disaster!  They pull out toys & books faster than we can put them away.  Thankfully, my housekeeper came today!  Since the kids are taking naps right now, my house might actually be clean for the next hour or two.

Since my house will be probably have toys strewn all over it by the time Brian arrives home, I decided to take a quick picture to show that from approximately 2:00 - 2:02 pm, the house was actually clean (it won’t last long)!

Look, quick–no toys!

We try to stay out of Emelda’s way when she is cleaning our home.  Today we went to Mae-Mae’s (Grandma’s) house then met with Brian for lunch in Odessa.  By the time we got home, both kids were asking for their night time stories.

Sam went right to sleep - he did not even take the time to lay down straight.  OUCH!

Of course Hannah has her own unique sleeping habits.  Hannah likes to gather up all of her things for naptime & night.  Her “friends” fill her entire bed–good thing there are rails on the sides to keep everything from falling off.
