Black and white damask is the theme for Magen & Jon-Aaron’s wedding. The fabric they are laying on is actually one of the tablecloths that will be used at their reception!
Stephanie and Travis: We will
Last week Stephanie and Travis drove in from Andrews to join me in for their engagement session in Odessa. Stephanie wanted a fun, modern engagement shoot with bright & colorful images. We spent the evening running around Odessa and stopping at several locations that I had pre-selected as well as some that we discovered that night.
We did not realize it when we were taking the shot, but the graffiti in the background says “TSB” which is what the couple’s initials will be.
Travis and Stephanie met at college in Hobbs, NM. They will marry in May of 2009 at The Shack in the Back in Odessa, TX.
Brittany & Shane: engagement portraits
Okay - y’all know that I fall for sweet stories. Brittany and Shane grew up in Midland and have known each other since their 7th grade year at Midland Christian. They headed off for Lubbock Christian University “just as friends.” However, during a night out together with mutual friends, Brittany & Shane realized that their friendship had grown to more than that–they secretly had crushes on each other. After dating for a while, Shane asked Brittany to marry him! Their wedding will be held in October at the CEED building in Midland. I’m looking forward to celebrating with you guys!
Courtney & Clinton: engaged!
I love shooting engagements and weddings. The stories of how couples met, the proposal, and their plans for the future always make my heart melt. Courtney and Clinton met at Texas Tech and Clinton popped the question while on a vacation with Courtney’s family at Disney World! Clinton will spend this year teaching and coaching while Courtney completes her degree in finance. Their wedding will be held at First Baptist Church of Midland, Texas in June of 2009.
Here are the photographs from a laid-back engagement session with Courtney and Clinton. They were cracking up throughout the shoot. We took our time on this session because we all wanted to catch Midland’s amazing sunset. Check out the last two pics–it was totally worth the wait!
