The “B” family

This is my third time to work with the “B” family.  Baby Riggs’ big blue eyes always melt my heart!  I cannot believe how much he has grown since our last portrait session when he was 5 months old–he hardly looks like the same child!

Amanda, Landy & Riggs, I enjoyed working with you guys again.  It is fun to watch Mr. Riggs as he grows up!  Thank you so much for spending your Saturday morning with me.

Jill & Ellie

What beautiful girls!  Jill and Ellie met with me earlier in September for their mother-daughter portraits.  We started off taking a couple of pictures of Jill & Ellie together before snapping some pictures separately.

Then we moved on to taking Ellie’s baby portraits.  She has the cutest smiles and expressions!

Jill & Ellie, I completely enjoyed working with you guys.  Thank you for giving me the opportunity to capture your beautiful smiles!

The “F” family

Last Saturday I had a family photography session with the “F” family.  What a fun family to work with!  The “F” family is just as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside and we hit it right off.  Reggie & Kristi met at Baylor University (just like my husband and I did).  Their daughters names are Hannah and Rachel — our daughter’s name is Hannah Rachel.  Kristi is a preacher’s kid, I am a preacher’s kid.  Kristi is working on obtaining her teaching certification for secondary education, I am certified as a 6-12 teacher.  Rachel is interested in photography, I am . . . well you get it.

Okay, on to the pictures!

Rachel & Hannah both plan to attend Baylor - sic ‘em bears!!!

“F” family, I enjoyed getting to know you guys last weekend.  Thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with you!

Typical Friday

With a toddler & preschooler at home, my house is always a disaster!  They pull out toys & books faster than we can put them away.  Thankfully, my housekeeper came today!  Since the kids are taking naps right now, my house might actually be clean for the next hour or two.

Since my house will be probably have toys strewn all over it by the time Brian arrives home, I decided to take a quick picture to show that from approximately 2:00 - 2:02 pm, the house was actually clean (it won’t last long)!

Look, quick–no toys!

We try to stay out of Emelda’s way when she is cleaning our home.  Today we went to Mae-Mae’s (Grandma’s) house then met with Brian for lunch in Odessa.  By the time we got home, both kids were asking for their night time stories.

Sam went right to sleep - he did not even take the time to lay down straight.  OUCH!

Of course Hannah has her own unique sleeping habits.  Hannah likes to gather up all of her things for naptime & night.  Her “friends” fill her entire bed–good thing there are rails on the sides to keep everything from falling off.

“E” family portraits

This is my third time to work with the “E” family.  I worked with Cooper in February for his one-year-old portraits and Abbey came to me for her maternity portraits in the spring.  Abbey called me a couple of months ago to book this session for Cash’s first baby portraits as well as some family portraits.

I enjoyed the opportunity of working with you guys again - thank you!
