Sarah Green Photography - the blog!

Photography is not just my profession—it is my passion! When I look through the lens, I do not merely see the subject in front of me. Instead, I seek out the potential and possibilities that only the best photographs can portray. I aim to capture personalities & emotions rather than "say cheese" smiles.

My husband Brian and I have two children, Hannah and Sam, who keep us laughing. Faith is very important to us. I thank God every day for the blessings He provides.

Since this blog is less formal than my main website, I will cover both my personal & professional life here. On this blog you will be able to find some of my most recent photographs while you take a peek at the life of the girl behind the camera.

Now, go grab your favorite drink, pull up a chair, and browse through some of my latest photos!

senior portrait sessions

Have I mentioned how much I love working with seniors?  Senior portrait sessions are always so much FUN!

Chelsea & Jed, I had a blast working with you guys & getting to know you during your sessions.  Enjoy your senior year!

I have finally caught up!

My hectic Christmas rush is over & I have finally caught up with work.  I now have time to get back to regular blogging!  I love blogging & missed it so much during the past few months so I am super-excited to finally be able to get back into the game.

Okay so my first blog post after my hiatus . . . MY OWN KIDS!

I have these two pictures hanging side by side in my dining room.  They are each 30×40 size stretched canvases hanging in frames.

Hannah

I just love this picture of Sam’s smile.  This one hangs in my entryway in a 30×30 gallery-wrapped canvas.

Just a couple more recent shots of my kids . . . these are from early December.

I used a couple of these pictures for our 2008 Christmas card.

Christmas card

I have not dropped off the face of the earth!

Okay I’ve been crazy busy!  I’ve been spending every spare minute shooting sessions, editing pictures, creating Christmas cards for clients, etc. etc.

My blog is sooooooo neglected right now and I am terribly sorry!  Once I catch up from this crazy pre-Christmas rush I’ll get caught up & add some fresh pictures on here!

Also, for those of you who are calling requesting a session for Christmas pictures, please be aware that my calendar always fills up extremely fast & I book several months in advance.  Right now my next available opening is for the morning of February 21st, 2009.

I can’t wait to get back to my regular blogging but right now I’m working with some tight deadlines for Christmas cards & orders!

Jamie

I always enjoy working with Jamie.  She is such a sweet girl & unbelieveably gorgeous!  She is thinking about puting together a model portfolio so we took a variety of headshots and modeling pose pictures.  This girl definitely has potential!
