Typical Friday

With a toddler & preschooler at home, my house is always a disaster!  They pull out toys & books faster than we can put them away.  Thankfully, my housekeeper came today!  Since the kids are taking naps right now, my house might actually be clean for the next hour or two.

Since my house will be probably have toys strewn all over it by the time Brian arrives home, I decided to take a quick picture to show that from approximately 2:00 - 2:02 pm, the house was actually clean (it won’t last long)!

Look, quick–no toys!

We try to stay out of Emelda’s way when she is cleaning our home.  Today we went to Mae-Mae’s (Grandma’s) house then met with Brian for lunch in Odessa.  By the time we got home, both kids were asking for their night time stories.

Sam went right to sleep - he did not even take the time to lay down straight.  OUCH!

Of course Hannah has her own unique sleeping habits.  Hannah likes to gather up all of her things for naptime & night.  Her “friends” fill her entire bed–good thing there are rails on the sides to keep everything from falling off.

Sarah, they are precious! If I slept like your son, I wouldn’t be able to walk again ever! So sweet. Your home is beautiful just like you. Blessings to you!

Your house is gorgeous! I’m jealous - even if it’s only clean and toy free for a few moments before the kids invade. I can’t find any room without at least one toy sneaking up on me. Poor Sam being so worn out. He is growing up so fast.

I am a friend of Josh of Laura and Josh. I live in Williamsburg, VA and have know Josh and his family for about 7 years. A few of us are hoping to make it out to their wedding in Midland,Texas.
My photographer friends have hooked me unto looking at photographer’s websites. After Josh’s mom sent me yours (to look at the happy couple), I pulled up a chair and poured a glass of ice water and spent an hour or two scanning through your site. Love it! Looking forward to the wedding picts in Jan. Having friends who are also mom’s of young children, I can appreciate how hard you work and how you pour yourself into your shots. Keep up the great picts…Happy fall…BTW
In your home shots I was surprised not to see large family photos on your walls. So many of us use our many family shots as art on our walls. See you in Jan. Fondly, Laura
